Our Australian footwear company was founded with one thing in mind, making real foot comfort affordable for everyone. After seeing my father struggling with knee pain which was radically reduced based on which shoes he was wearing, it seemed custom orthotics was his only option. The only real difference he saw in his comfort was when he wore his $300 custom shoes, but they were too bulky and old-school to be worn in his office.

After seeing this, I thought, why can't these shoes be cheaper? Why can't these shoes look better? What about those with foot and knee pain that can't afford a custom shoe for daily use? That's what drove me to establish OutbackOrtho, where style isn't sacrificed for comfort, and comfort isn't a trade-off for your yearly holiday.

While we are still a small business, we are constantly working to create more efficient designs that provide more long-lasting comfort, while still maintaining an affordable price-point. Our initial launches have seen success, and I've even got my own father off of his old custom orthotics and into a new pair of our very own shoes. 

I'm excited to continue this journey and hope to make a difference in the lives of anyone looking for a stylish pair of orthopedic shoes.
